Deb Calvert

President and Founder

Deb Calvert has been named by Treeline as one of “The 65 Most Influential Women in Business” and consistently appears on lists of Top Sales Influencers and Thought Leaders. She is UC-Berkeley Instructor, field researcher, trainer, instructional designer, speaker, and author, and has worked as a leadership program architect, sales productivity specialist and researcher since 2000.

Deb’s newest book is Stop Selling & Start Leading, co-authored with leadership gurus Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. Her bestseller, DISCOVER Questions® Get You Connected, has been named one of “The 20 Most Highly-Rated Sales Books of All Time” by HubSpot. Deb is the founder of The Sales Experts Channel and of the movement to Stop Selling & Start Leading®.

Prior to founding PFPS in 2006, Deb was a corporate training director for a Fortune 500 Media Company. Deb’s early career included a variety of inside, outside and major account sales and sales management positions.

As President and Founder of People First Productivity Solutions, Deb helps companies to boost productivity through people development. This work includes Sales Training, Team Effectiveness Consulting, and Leadership Program Design.

Deb is a Certified Master of The Leadership Challenge® and a Certified Executive Coach. Additionally, Deb is a Certified Practitioner with the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and other assessment tools. Her unique mix of senior-level Sales, Human Resources, and Operations experience gives her valuable insight and the ability to understand the challenges faced by companies and senior leaders.

Carla Arnold

Strategic Partnerships Manager

Carla Arnold retired from the legal community with 30 years experience as a Senior Paralegal/Office Administrator.  She assisted in trials and trial prep as well as managing a boutique law office. She also has an extensive background in sales and running a small business. Carla’s work to coordinate 63 Sales Experts and launch The Sales Experts Channel in 2017 has made a tremendous impact on the global sales community. Her current role with People First Productivity Solutions includes ongoing oversight of The Sales Experts Channel, managing partnerships and workflow, and leading special projects.

Leigh Ann O’Herron

The Sales Experts Channel Manager

Leigh Ann O’Herron earned a degree in Occupational Therapy and moved from patient care to Orthotic Sales. She was a top producer for 4 years before taking on her greatest challenge… She became The COO of The O’Herron household, aka homemaker and mom. While maintaining a household, she found time to volunteer at church, school, nursing homes, and various local charities. She currently serves as PTA president, and the Social Event’s Manager of her sons’ school. Leigh Ann is known for her interpersonal skills, organizational talents, sharp attention to detail, sound judgement/decision making, complex problem solving and critical thinking. She has always been in the business of putting people first and helping others. Leigh Ann’s combination of skills helps her understand the challenges sellers face and are now being deployed to keep The Sales Experts Channel running smoothly.

Renee Calvert

Art Director

Renee Calvert has been working with People First since its inception in 2006. Her role has evolved from administrative support for trainers and sub-consultants to Office Manager and Communications Director. Her current role is best aligned with her passions and focus. As the Art Director, Renee oversees the visual design of PFPS training and marketing materials. She creates graphics, animations and illustrations for eLearning modules, videos, books and job aids. Her background in art and economics equips her to serve both the creative and business needs of a growing family business. Renee earned her Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University in 2009, with a concentration in Art and Economics. She then earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Animation at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In addition to her role with PFPS, Renee works as a professional studio animator. She has animated a variety of shows including Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Rick and Morty, The Awesomes, DC Girls, The Croods and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Richard Adame

Senior Training Contractor

Richard Adame possess over thirty years of sales/sales management experience in the Mortgage Banking Arena – Bank of America, Citi Group, First Security Savings Bank. Since he started originating Wholesale/Retail residential loans he has directly overseen and managed in excess of 3.9 billion in closed residential real estate loans. During his career he has managed multi-office organizations. His experience in Leadership/Sales Management positions serves him well in the role of a Senior Trainer. Richard is experienced in Coaching and Mentoring Managers in the art of Leadership and Management practices. He is experienced in developing managers to adapt and utilize the following styles of management: Coaching, Mentoring, Affiliative, Democratic and Pacesetting, as well as when to apply or combine processes for maximum productivity. Richard has trained sales people on Selling skills, Public Speaking, and Presentation skills. His education includes an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS from the University of Southern California.

Lourdes Mae H. Bacong

Graphic Designer

Lourdes Mae H. Bacong is an experienced Virtual Assistant and multimedia designer. She has worked as an IT instructor, pharmacy assistant and data entry specialist. She was awarded numerous college-level awards including Database Designer of the Year and IT Special Project Award of the Year. Her diverse experience and quest for excellence equip for a wide variety of work here at People First Productivity Solutions including the design of marketing and training materials.

Kinley Calvert

Chief Operating Officer

Kinley Calvert manages the day-to-day operations of People First Productivity Solutions and is responsible for purchasing, finance, accounting and bookkeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory and supplies, order fulfillment, process improvement and strategic direction. Kinley’s background in big pharma, healthcare and education gives him the detail orientation needed for this role in a rapidly expanding business.
